Jack Binder Jr.
Real estate was the first language Jack Binder, Jr learned. Jack grew up in a household where both parents specialized in the Avalon and Stone Harbor real estate market. He left as a young man to study Finance and Accounting at the George Washington University, where Jack graduated Summa Cum Laude. After college, Jack spent 3 years at Jones Land LaSalle consulting the United States Army on how to best partner private capital with Department of Defense equity to build new homes on Army bases across the country. These partnerships, underwritten as 50-year ground leases with an upfront development period, drastically improved on-base housing for Army members all over the US. Jack then moved back to the Philadelphia area to work for Main Line developer O’Neill Properties Group (OPG). At OPG, Jack managed a portfolio of luxury development assets anchored by the Carnegie Abbey Club in Newport, RI. Working directly with the company’s debt and equity partners, Jack helped steer strategic decisions on acquisitions, entitlements, sales, construction and operations.
Jack Jr.’s background in development and finance allow him to bring a different approach to real estate than most other realtors. Using his previous experience, Jack is able to offer his clients valuable and unique insights on zoning issues, architectural and construction solutions, how to best structure transactions and the mortgage process. Jack’s approach is founded on a macro view of the market, and he brings a tireless effort to ensuring his clients get the very best service the 7 Mile Island has to offer. As a student of the real estate market and local zoning laws, Jack shares his expertise to empower his clients in finding the perfect opportunity. Outside of real estate, Jack enjoys spending time with his wife, Alexis, his daughters Addison and Ella, his family and friends, playing basketball and chess, reading and traveling.
